Water Well Locations

Every 8 seconds, a child in Sub-Saharan Africa passes away due to dehydration. Every day 4,500 children under the age of five die of diarrhea because their daily water needs are not met. Girls are barred from going to school because they are forced to deliver water from remote areas for daily use. Parasites and bacteria infest food and water due to lack of hygienic measures causing mass cases of diarrhea and various other infectious diseases.

Water is a Human Right!

WEFA believes that water is a human right that every individual must be allowed easy access to. We acknowledge the fact that water is one of the most important building blocks of life. For this reason, our organization urges everyone to help deliver water to impoverished communities whose rights are being violated.
