In continuing its work throughout Ramadan 2021 in Turkey, WEFA International Humanitarian Relief Organization delivered iftar meals to 300 homeless people.
Under its Ramadan aid motto “Sharing is Fidelity!”, WEFA has distributed iftar meals to homeless people in Istanbul this year.
WEFA President Musab Aydin elaborated about the program,
“This Ramadan we also continue to deliver aid to the needy in Turkey. Within the scope of our Ramadan aid, we have distributed food to those living in parks, under the bridges, secluded corners, etc.. We have organized iftar meals to the homeless who are trying to survive. We did not want to leave these brothers and sisters, who became homeless for different reasons, and whose family ties had been severed, to be alone in this holy month. 300 people have benefited from this aid work we have carried out in Fatih last night. In addition, we will hold our iftar meals this evening as well.’’
How Can I Donate?
Benefactors who would like to support the Ramadan aid of WEFA can make donations online via wefa.org as well as making their donations via Tele-Donation by calling +49 221 880 64 80. Donations can also be made directly at WEFA offices or representative offices. In addition, a transfer can be made to WEFA’s bank account number. The purpose of donation (food packets, zakat, etc.) should be written in the description section.
