To help fight the coronavirus pandemic, WEFA International Humanitarian Relief Organization has donated hygiene products and masks to the Turkish Red Crescent to be given to health workers in Turkey. The items were delivered to Marmara University Research And Education Hospital, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) and Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, presented by WEFA President Musab Aydın and Turkish Red Crescent General Secretary Hüseyin Can.

WEFA President Aydın expressed the following statement: “We are continuing the aid efforts that we have started in different countries and regions of the world in fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Today, we have accomplished meaningful work. We have delivered masks and hygiene products to the Turkish Red Crescent to be given to health workers who are in contact with Covid-19 patients or suspected patients in Turkey.  This important work that we have carried out today signals that we are standing with healthcare professionals. In Ramadan, we have also helped families with hygiene packages in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent.”

In regards to coronavorus in Africa, Asia, the Balkans, and Europe, Aydın explained: “Within the framework of our aid efforts in different countries of Europe, we also provided masks to city residents, tradesmen, and NGOs in some cities. We have distributed hygiene packages to poor families in Africa, Asia, and the Balkans. Our work will continue without slowing down until the coronavirus threat that has shaken the whole world is over.”
